Title:  Ubiquitous Data Access and Dissemination: Research Issues in
        Databases
Speaker: Prof.Dik Lee (the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology)


Wireless communication has enabled us to access to data
almost anywhere. This talk reviews the research that we
have done on data broadcast and what we have learnt about
the potentials and limitations of data broadcast as a means to Ubiquitous
Data Dissemination. Issues about location modeling
and a large scale data dissemination architecture will be discribed.
