UCS 2007の,デモとポスターの〆切が9月30日まで延長されました.2ページの原 稿+αで世界の研究者や企業人に研究を聞いてもらえるチャンスです.よろしけ れば投稿をご検討下さい. ************************************************************************ Call For Demos and Posters Fourth International Symposium on Ubiquitous Computing Systems (UCS 2007) November 25-28, 2007 Akihabara Convention Hall, Tokyo, Japan http://www.ht.sfc.keio.ac.jp/ucs2007 Organized by IPSJ SIGUBI, IEICE USN, UCN(Korea) in cooperation with IEEE Tokyo Section, IPSJ SIGEMB, IEICE Smart Info-media Systems Technical Group and Human Interface Society ************************************************************************ PURPOSE Demonstrations and Posters provide an interactive forum in which authors can present work to conference attendees during a special demonstration & poster session. Demonstrations show early implementations of novel, interesting, and important interaction concepts or user interface systems. Demonstrations should be brief, so that they can be shown repeatedly. Posters provide an opportunity to describe new work or work that is still in progress, and will be more lightly reviewed than papers. Accepted demonstrations and posters will be published in an adjunct booklet distributed to UCS2007 attendees. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT A demonstration submission and a poster submission should be a maximum of 2 pages, in the ACM SIGCHI conference publications format, including all figures and references. Please make sure that your submitted abstract complies to all the formatting guidelines and is ready for publication, since there will be no time to make major revisions. A demonstration submission requires the following parts: The demonstration supplement (free format) should also include the various technical requirements such as preferred setting, space, power, networking, lighting, acoustical, and other special equipment. Demonstration supplement materials are for the purposes of review only and will not be published. A poster submission requires the following parts: A further single page which describes the poster itself for review purposes, this may be a draft of the poster, or text describing the proposed layout (free format). Acceptable format is PDF. No other formats will be accepted for review. Your submission (2 pages paper + a demonstration supplement / a draft of the poster) must be submitted electronically, by sending them as attachments in an email to - Posters Co-chair, Masateru Minami, at minami[at]sic.shibaura-it.ac.jp - Demonstrations Chair, Kazushige Ouchi, at kazushige.ouchi[at]toshiba.co.jp by September 14, 2007. IMPORTANT DATES Submission Deadline: September 30, 2007 (extended) Acceptance Notification: October 5, 2007 (extended) Final Version Due: October 28, 2007 (extended) UPON ACCEPTANCE Preparatory plan of demonstrations and posters will be announced after the acceptance notification. The conference will at minimum provide a space and equipments for your demo or poster, a table and chairs, a power connection and wireless LAN. If you need any special equipment you should provide that yourself, including projectors, audio amplification, etc. Please specify all needs in your demonstration supplement so that we can plan the demonstration area accordingly.
