The Web X.0 and Web mining workshop (WWM) will be held in conjunction with the First International Conference on Human Computer Interaction (HCI 2009) which will be held in Allahabad, India. The date of the workshop is: Jan. 19, 2009 which is one day before the conference. The website for the conference is http://hci.iiita.ac.in. The website for the workshop is http://hci.iiita.ac.in/Web_Workshop_July20.doc

The Web 2.0 bandwagon grows bigger and faster and leading to web 3.0 and web X.0. The phenomenal changes in web have profound impact on the human life. The evolution of web and the changes are termed in different ways. The emergence of web x.0 technology has considerable influence over web mining. Hence the proposed workshop would address such interrelation between web X.0 and web mining.

The aim of this workshop is to bring researchers and practitioners from the academia and industry to advance the knowledge the field of Web X.0 and Web Mining. The workshop solicits papers in the following topics: Classification, Clustering, Association Rules, Sequential Patterns, Regression, Summarization, Change and Deviation Detection in the Web context.

The following topics concerning Web X.0 are of interest, but not confined to:

  • Regression and Summarization
  • Change and Deviation Detection in the Web context
  • Web X.0 for web mining
  • Web X.0 and its future
  • Web X.0 for knowledge mining
  • Php for Web X.0
  • Web mining and 3D
  • Web X.0 imagining
  • Web X.0 intelligence
  • Web X.0 applications
  • Web X.0 content syndication
  • AJAX
  • Aggregation services in Web X.0
  • Application services in Web X.0
  • Serviced clients in Web X.0
  • Pattern language for Web X.0
  • Semantics annotation for Web X.0

All papers will be reviewed by at least two reviewers as a blind reviewing. All accepted papers in workshop will be included in the Proceedings published by the IEEE Engineering Management Society and indexed by ISI Thomson.
