The objective is to share the experience in the area of the World Wide Web with the underlying technologies and applications. * APWeb 2015 in Guangzhou consists of research track, industrial track, demonstration track, workshops, tutorials, Ph.D. symposium and distinguished young researcher lecture series. * All accepted papers, on all tracks and workshops, will be published in Lecture Notes of Computer Science (LNCS) series of Springer. * Selected accepted papers of APWeb 2015 will be recommended to WWW Journal for fast-track review and publication on a special session. * A number of student travel fellowships are available to support the attendance of student authors of accepted papers. [Important dates] Abstract submission: March 24, 2015 Paper submission: March 31, 2015 Acceptance notification: May 31, 2015 Camera-ready copies due: June 14, 2015 Early bird registration: August 10, 2015 [CALL FOR PAPERS] APWeb 2015 invites papers describing original contributions in all fields of Web Management and related research areas and applications. All submissions should be in English. For every accepted paper it is required that at least one author will attend the conference to present the work. Research topics of interest for APWeb 2015 include, but are not limited to: * Advanced application of databases * Cloud computing * Content management * Data caching * Data mining and knowledge discovery * Data and information quality Control * Data migration and integration * Deep Web * Digital libraries * Distributed and parallel systems * Grid computing * Emerging Web techniques * Information retrieval * Mobile computing and data management * Multidimensional databases and OLAP * Multimedia systems * Parallel and distributed database systems * Peer-to-peer systems * Performance and benchmarking * Query processing and optimization * Semantic web and web ontology * Security, privacy and trust * Sensor networks * Service-oriented computing * Spatial and temporal databases * Stream data processing * Storage and data access methods * Web community analysis * Web search and mining * Web services * Workflow and E-services * XML and semi-structured data management [Submission and Publication] All papers in the research, demo and industrial tracks must be submitted through Microsoft's CMT system, via the following link https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/APWEB2015/. The submission site will be open in early March 2015. The conference proceedings, including all accepted papers, will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Submissions must not exceed 12 pages in LNCS format, including references. All submissions must be in PDF format. Authors should avoid the use of non-English fonts to avoid problems with printing and viewing the submissions. All accepted papers MUST follow strictly the instructions for LNCS Authors. Springer LNCS site offers style files and information: http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0. Submissions for APWeb must be original (not previously published and not under review in other forums). This applies to papers on all tracks of the conference. Authors are advised to interpret these limitations strictly and to contact the PC chairs in case of doubt. Each accepted paper must be accompanied by at least one full registration, and an author is expected to present the paper at the conference, otherwise, the paper will be removed from the proceedings and the LNCS digital library. There will be a special session on the WWW Journal for best papers in APWeb 2015. Papers recommended to WWW Journal will go through a fast review and publication track. [Student Travel Fellowship] The conference will provide a number of student travel fellowship to student authors of accepted papers. The recipients of the fellowship are expected to work as volunteer at the conference site. Applications of the student travel fellowship must be sent to Student Travel Fellowship Co-Chair by June 31, 2015. The application results will be notified by July 14, 2015. Details of the student travel fellowship will be available on the web site.
