The Windows Subsystem for Linux allows users to seamlessly run native Linux applications on Windows, making it easier than ever for developers to use Windows to write software targeting all platforms. In this talk I will give an overview of WSL, explain its architecture and the changes in the upcoming WSL2, and go over some of the challenges we faced integrating the two operating systems.
