University Politehnica of Bucharest is proud to host the 3rd International Conference on Emerging Intelligent Data and Web Technologies (EIDWT-2012)!

Call For Proposals: EIWDT-2012 Workshops

The 3rd International Conference on Emerging Intelligent Data and Web Technologies (EIDWT-2012) is soliciting innovative ideas for new and recurring workshops. EIDWT-2012 will hold multiple one-day workshops in conjunction with the conference, to be held in University Politehnica of Bucharest, Bucharest, Romania, September 19-21, 2012. We invite you to submit workshop proposals on any topic related to the broad set of research and application areas covered the by EIDWT conference including: Data Stream, Click stream, Cloud Computing, Crowd Computing, Data Annotation, Data Architecture, Data Capture, Data Clustering/Partitioning, Data Discovery/Management, Data Grids, Data Integration, Data Management and Knowledge Engineering, Data Mashups, Data Query Systems and Languages, Data Push/Notification, Data Scheduling, Data/Text Mining, P2P, Reality Mining, Data Visualization, Emerging Applications, Emerging/Enabling Collaborative Data Technologies, Trust and Security, Web Science, Web 2.0, Ubiquitus Intelligence, Mobile and Pervasive Computing.

A workshop proposal should contain at least the following information:

* Motivation and rationale for the workshop
* A draft Call for Papers (CFP)
* The workshop deadlines (internal and external)
* Names and affiliations of main organizers. Also include a tentative composition of the committees (as complete as possible). Please indicate whether prospective TPC members have been contacted, and whether they have accepted the invitation. We strongly discourage speculative TPC listings.
* Workshop format, i.e., expected number of presented papers, invited talks, panels, demonstrations, etc.
* Expected number of participants. Further, if the workshop was co-located with another conference please include details and a brief description why EIDWT-2012 is a more appropriate venue.

Note that workshop format itself should favor interaction among participants as well as community building.

Important workshop dates

Workshop proposals due: January 31, 2012
Notification of Acceptance: February 5, 2012
Workshop Call for Papers due: February 10, 2012

Note that there are only several days between the notification and the final CFP. Thus, while it is not a strict requirement, we strongly encourage you to contact your workshop potential PC members before submitting the proposal.
