Abstract:
We can leverage the vast amount of data accumulated from various sources
such as wearable devices, smart systems, and the internet to transform
consumer’s experience. Digital transformation can add value to services
by offering better decision making and personalization. However,
extracting and processing big real-time data is not easy. Data science
enables big data processing using machine learning, statistics, and
optimization techniques. This session focuses on the recent trends of
applying data sciences to consumers, such as analysis of cognitive
computing, large scale optimizations, data mining, visualization, and
social media analysis. We invite all researchers to present their latest
work.
